The flags will get there on time only if somebody counted backwards from Saturday.
This calendar does the counting with you. You get the occasions of 2027 that fill a pole or a stand in six markets: Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Slovenia. For each one, month by month, you see the date and the flags it needs. The occasions that cross borders carry a ★, and they get their own section at the end.
The mistake is always the same: ordering when the occasion is already close. The date of a match, a national day or a carnival does not move. «About a week» is not an answer when the parade is on Thursday.

Occasions that cross borders
These are the dates when one order can serve customers in several markets at once. Plan them first.
- 13–31 January, Handball World Championship. Germany hosts, and France, Spain, Italy and Slovenia all qualified. Five of your six markets in one tournament.
- Carnival week, 3–9 February. Shrove Tuesday falls on 9 February, so Venice, the Rhineland and Ptuj celebrate in the same days.
- 5 February–13 March, Six Nations. Italy, France, England, Scotland and Wales, plus Ireland. The women's edition follows, 10 April to 15 May.
- 1 May. An official flag day in Italy, Germany and Slovenia.
- 9 May, Europe Day. The EU flag flies on public buildings in Italy, France and Germany.
- 24 June–25 July, Women's World Cup, Brazil. France, Germany and Spain qualified. England and Italy entered the European play-offs, whose last round ends on 5 December 2026.
- 2–25 July, Tour de France. Three days in Scotland, England and Wales, then France to Paris.
- 1 October–13 November, Rugby World Cup, Australia. Italy, Spain, France, England, Scotland and Wales.
- Remembrance in November. Italy on the 4th, France on the 11th, Germany and the UK on the 14th.
When flags of several nations fly together, they should look like equals. Our article on flag proportions in Europe explains the courtesy: the guest takes the host's proportion.
When to order: from the occasion backwards
Start from the date of the occasion, not from today. Then take off the days you need yourself: to hand the flags to your customer, to set up the stand, to raise them on the pole.
What is left is the day by which the flags must be with you. Every product page shows the delivery date before paying, for each of three options: Express, Standard, Economy. If the date shown is before your day, order. If it is not, choose Express.
Two things start the clock: your payment and a file ready for production. Pay by card and the clock starts with your payment; a bank transfer starts it only when the money arrives. If we are late with Express, we refund the order and you keep the flags. With Standard or Economy, 10% of the order goes back to your wallet.
The first occasion in this calendar is 7 January. The first that crosses borders starts on 13 January. Your planning starts this December.
Every national and regional flag in this calendar starts from one place: the flags of the world catalogue.
Every date in this calendar is already fixed. Only your order date is still open.
