Platinum: when a reseller stops selling flags and starts selling dates

Your client calls on a Monday. Twelve town halls, one flag order each, every one for a ceremony on a different day. Your client does not ask what the flags cost. He asks one thing: will they be there?

When that is the question, you are no longer selling a product. You are selling a date. Our highest reseller plan, Platinum, is built for that kind of reseller: promotional-goods companies, event agencies, large resellers who promise days to their own clients. This article explains what changes when you move from buying flags to selling a service, what the plan is built around, and how you get its conditions.

From a product to a service

A small reseller sells a flag. A large one sells a promise: the flags at the fair on Thursday at nine, the hand flags at the stadium gate before the doors open, the new flag on the pole the day the branch opens.

That promise is your business. Your client pays you because you take the date off his hands. Every late parcel lands on your desk, not on your supplier's.

The enemy is an estimate

Too many suppliers still answer «about a week». For one flag in a shop, an estimate is an annoyance. For forty orders a month, each with its own event, an estimate is a risk you resell to every client.

What loses a reseller his customers is not the price. It is the phone call where he has to say «it has not arrived yet». On our site the delivery day is on every product, before you pay. If we get it wrong, we refund it. So you promise a day you have already seen, not a day you hope for.

What the higher plan is built for

Platinum is the plan for high-volume partners. It is built around four things a reseller who sells dates needs:

  • More margin as volume grows. There are several levels, and more volume means more margin. Platinum is the top of that ladder.
  • Free shipments every month. When you send many small orders to many events, shipping is the cost that multiplies. The plan includes free monthly shipments.
  • Priority support. Your requests go to the front of the queue, because a question about tomorrow's event cannot wait behind everybody else's.
  • A dedicated account manager. One real person who knows your account, with a direct phone number.

The Resellers page adds one more line on shipping, and we quote it as it stands: we ship to you, «or straight to him with your name as the sender, where your plan includes it». Ask in the call what your plan includes.

A month at volume

Picture a month in an event agency, as an example. Thirty client events, each with its own date. Some need hand flags in packs, some a flag for the pole, some a set of country flags for an international meeting.

Each order goes in when the client confirms. Each one shows its delivery date before you pay. You pass that date on, you plan the setup around it, and you stop chasing parcels. The account manager knows the month you are in; support answers first; the shipments are part of the plan.

That is what selling a service looks like from the inside. Fewer phone calls, and none of them the kind you dread.

Why volume comes back

Volume in flags is not a one-season accident. A flag lives outdoors: the sun fades it, the wind wears it out, and sooner or later it is replaced. In our order history:

  • A reseller who buys from us places on average 8 to 9 orders. An active reseller comes back several times a year, and reprints return season after season.
  • 66% of what resellers buy is catalogue and structures. Repeatable products: the same flags, poles and bases, ordered again for the next event.
  • Resellers have been 23% of all our revenue. The channel is not a side line for us, and the plan is built to match.

Conditions come in a phone call

You will not find the plan's prices, percentages or thresholds in this article or on our public pages. We tell you the exact conditions on the phone, once we know who you are and what you sell. The reason is in your favour: if we published them, your client would know what a flag really costs you.

Applying is free and commits you to nothing: no fee and no obligation to buy, before or after approval. We look at one application at a time, and if your market is already covered we say so straight away.

The moment: before your busiest month

For many event agencies the busiest weeks are in spring. Europe Day falls on Sunday 9 May 2027. If your clients are town halls, schools or institutions, that day is already in their diary, and so is the EU flag.

A plan is opened after a conversation, not with a click. If your peak is in May, the call belongs in the winter, so that your first spring order already runs on the plan. For the other dates that drive orders through the year, see our flag calendar for 2027. If you are a small shop starting out, selling flags without stock is the place to begin.

How you get in

Register on the site with an ordinary account. Apply from the Resellers page with your company, your VAT number, what you sell and to whom. Then we talk on the phone, one applicant at a time, and open your plan.

One page does it: apply on the Resellers page.

You sell the date. We keep it.
